Trust me you are in good hands .. Alicia initially came to Pretty Paws Dog Grooming Training Centre for an intense five week full time grooming and finishing course, during which she demonstrated great potential, Alicia has since re visited the school on numerous occasions to further her study.

Alicia's standard is extremely high and she is one of the best groomers I have trained, not just her grooming and styling but how she carefully applies herself to the dogs. If she lived closer I would love to work alongside her.

Since I have known Alicia her knowledge and skill has just grown and grown she also constantly keeps up with new styles of breeds. I am regularly in contact with Alicia so much so we don't see her as a trainee anymore but a very capable and qualified groomer - she has great potential.

Due to my confidence with Alicia I drove from Huddersfield to Stafford to board my own award winning show dogs at Quintessential Quarters. During there stay Alicia groomed them for me - I don't even let some of my own staff groom them.

We have been bringing our two Clumber Spaniels for Grooming for a year now - usually before the major Championship Dog Shows including Crufts 2009 and have always been delighted with the results.

We can only commend Alicia for the amazingly high standard she achieves. Although of the same breed she treats each dog as an individual in terms of skin and coat requirements and in their response to the grooming process, ensuring they both look and feel stunning when completed, a fact noted by judges in the critiques of their show performance.

For us however the most important factor is the way in which the dogs are handled whilst grooming, with gentleness, kindness, and infinite patience ensuring the dogs enjoy attending the salon.

Thank you for making such a lovely job of bathing, cutting and shaping Heidi's Coat.

As a German Shepherd with a long thick coat, the daily grooming has now become so much easier, quicker and is obviously less stressful for the dog.

So many people have commented on how beautiful her coat looks, especially when it glistens in the sunlight - other remarks like "What an example of Professional Styling" are very pleasing to hear, which has prompted us to put pen to paper and pass these sentiments on to you.

We would just like to say a very big thank you to everyone at quintessential quarters for looking after Cindy and Harvey (our 2 golden retrievers) when they come in for grooming.

They both enjoy rolling in mud and getting thoroughly roughed up and when they visit QQ they always come home looking at their best after their wonderful grooming routine. What is just wonderful though is that neither of them hesitates to trot straight in for their pampering and they are always happy to stay.

My name is Moli, I am a seven year old dog and very scared of people, I had a very bad start in life with nasty owners. My new family rescued me and give me a great life with love and fun and safety. I have long hair and it need a lot of looking after. When I went to my local groomer I had to be sedated, (because I would try to bite them through fear of what they were going to do to me). My family didn't like doing this because of the risks so they started to trim me, but it was hard work for us both and I would get fed up and wriggle about.

So one day my owners took me to visit Alicia, I was very afraid the first time I went because I don't trust strangers at all. Alicia was very patient and gentle and took it slowly, and after a couple of visits I realised that no harm would come to me and now I look forward to my six weekly visit for a long bath with oils bubbles and a trim.

My family like taking me too because Alicia is always helpful and friendly, and makes a great job of my cut and at a competitive price.

Dear Alicia

we just had to write to thank you for your patience with Ozz. As you know we have had problems with Ozz being away from home, his biggest problem however was with his aggression towards his regular groomer. After five years of grooming problems, we can't believe how he has settled with you, not only boarding but with his calmness whilst being groomed., you assured us he would be fine but we couldn't quite believe it. He has twice snarled and shown his teeth at previous groomers and now he looks forward to his regular cut and blow dry. Thank you also for your patience with Harrie, she's the opposite of Ozz, she can be quite timid but she's also very happy to visit Quintessential Cuts. We are now the proud owners of two well groomed, clean and fragrant Briards.

Mr Shmoo has been going to Alicia since he was a puppy. Alicia has built up Shmoo's confidence so much that he is always please to be left with her. Alicia only uses Quality products which show in the condition and shine of his coat. This has resulted in many comments on Mr Shmoo's coat, cut and condition.

On several occasions we have telephoned Alicia for advice on Mr Shmoo's grooming, she has always been happy to help and has advised innovative suggestions.

We have been so happy with Quintessential Cuts that we now only use their services which include, kennelling, cattery, and grooming service. We also buy Mr Shmoo's food from Quintessential along with the cats. We have been dog owners for many years and have not been able to match the services that we have received from Alicia at Quintessential Cuts
